The function of the Public Service Committee is to handle public service issues and events. 

The services that the Village of Wadsworth provides to its residents are limited, since police and fire protection are handled by separate county and township agencies. 

Several events throughout the year are planned and executed by this Committee. 

Some of these events include the annual Easter Egg Hunt, summer and fall concerts, and the Holiday Tree Lighting Ceremony.
