NOTICE REGARDING THE CONTINUATION OF THE JANUARY 12, 2022 WADSWORTH PLANNING AND ZONING COMMISSION MEETING AND PUBLIC HEARING

The public hearing scheduled to be held before the Wadsworth Planning and Zoning Commission at 7:00 p.m. on January 12, 2022 is being continued and rescheduled to January 26, 2022 at 7:00 p.m. at Village Hall, 14155 W. Wadsworth Road, Wadsworth, IL 60083. All interested parties will be given the right to be heard on January 26, 2022.

The January 26, 2022 hearing will be held for the purposes of considering (1) William and Laura Farrell (hereinafter “Petitioner”) for a variation and any other necessary relief for the following described real estate (the “Property”): 38145 N. McCarthy Road, Wadsworth, Illinois, 60083, Parcel Identification Number 03-43-401-018. The Property is zoned SR Suburban Residential under the Wadsworth Zoning Ordinance. Petitioner seeks a variance from Section 10-4-2 of the Zoning Ordinance to allow for a home renovation that extends into the front setback, and for other departures from standards and other relief as may be required. 

Further, (2) the Village of Wadsworth Zoning Board of Appeals / Plan Commission will consider text amendments to Section 10-5-11 of the Zoning Ordinance regarding the height, location, and construction requirements for front yard fences.

The relevant documents for the applications are available for inspection and copying at the Wadsworth Village Hall.
