VILLAGE OF WADSWORTH PUBLIC HEARING

ZONING BOARD OF APPEALS/PLAN COMMISSION MEETING NOTICE

Official Notice of Special Meeting Scheduled for Wednesday, August 26, 2026

Meeting Begins at 7:00 P.M.

The Village of Wadsworth Zoning Board of Appeals/Plan Commission will hold a Public Hearing on the 26th day of August, 2026, at 7:00 P.M., in accordance with Chapter 65, Section 5/11-13-1, et seq. of the Illinois Compiled Statutes, to consider a request from  Phillip and Marlene Fenske (hereinafter “Petitioner”), for variations and any other necessary relief for the following described real estate (the “Property”): 16359 W. Lane Foxglove , Wadsworth, Illinois, 60083, Parcel Identification Number 03-21-404-001. The Property is zoned Suburban Estate (SR) under the Wadsworth Zoning Ordinance, and is governed by the Willows Planned Unit Development. Petitioner seeks (1) a Variance from Section 10-5-7 of the Wadsworth Zoning Ordinance to allow for 3 accessory structures on the Property instead of the maximum 2 allowed; and (2) a Variance from Section 10-5-7 of the Wadsworth Zoning Ordinance to waive the requirement for driveway access to the proposed 3rd accessory structure on the Property. Further, Petitioner seeks departures from standards and other relief as may be required.

Information concerning the public hearing will be posted on the Village’s website at www.villageofwadsworth.org.The public hearing will be held at Wadsworth Village Hall, 14155 Wadsworth Road, Wadsworth, IL 60083.  The petition in its entirety is available for inspection and copying at the Wadsworth Village Hall. The public may submit written comments before the public hearing to be included in the record by sending them to info@villageofwadsworth.org.
