The Finance Committee makes recommendations regarding significant purchases to the full Village Board. 

It may take bids on requisite equipment or services, and subsequently make recommendations to the Board as to spending. 

Furthermore, this Committee provides for the Annual Appropriations Ordinance, which is required by the State of Illinois.
